For every pair of Fairytaleflats shoes sold, we donate towards helping women fight against breast cancer. At the end of every month, we tally up the total number of shoes sold. Our bookkeepers then calculate our donation for the month to our charity partner. This would not be possible without our customers.
Who is our charity partner?
Pretty In Pink Foundation provides grants to breast cancer patients, our “Champions”, to help pay for critical treatment. Their grants help with: Surgeries, Chemotherapy Administration, Radiation Therapy, Insurance Co-payments, Deductibles and Premiums, COBRA.
Their “Beyond the Ribbon” program provides resources, bras, prosthetics, wigs, and tote bags full of comfort items.
In 2004, Raleigh surgeon Dr. Lisa Tolnitch discovered some of her patients were not completing their treatment plans after surgery due to the inability to pay for chemotherapy and radiation. To address this need, she founded Pretty In Pink Foundation.
